Why do Palestinians find it convenient to live on the West Bank? Because it's just a stone's throw from Israel!

Salam sis Ema. Human nature usually like the easiest things, but the easiest wouldn't necessarily be the right ones. To be able to stay away from that meat for two years tells me that you are really a strong woman. Don't forget that you are rewarded for your patience. Keep it up. However, you do have other options. Why don't you buy a small portion of halal meat for yourself and cook once per week the meal that you wish with halal meat. On the other hand, if you don't really like red meat, you can get protein from other sources that a family would be eating usually not only you such as fish, white beans. I suggest you do a research on vegetarian foods that are high in protein. Another option is to eat halal meat from a restaurant that provides halal meat if it's available in your neighborhood. Another option is to eat halal meat with the company of other muslim friends. You can enjoy cooking a meal together and eating together of course if you have access to a kitchen. In case you don't know how to cook, believe me it is so simple. Once you try, you will get used to it, and if you need any quick recipes, I'm ready to provide you simple ones to start.I'm sure that if you felt weak and tried to eat that meat, you won't enjoy it because you know it is not halal meat.My advice is be strong and: "Never disobey Allah to please anyone".
