Dear sister Sweetheart,

I've been reading your thread about Muhammads wifes and it'd would very helpfull to me if you could tell me in a time-table when they where married to him:

1. in which year after the Hidjra and
2. in which year a. Chr.

To make you no probs: I agree with your point of view that it was not mainly sexual lust that made him marry but rather served the purpose of reuniting the tribes, and that's what I need these facts: to show why Muhammad married most of his wifes. But I really have some probs here since e.g. Ibn Ishaq tells about thirteen, Tabari about fifteen wifes, and even the names differ...

Also I want to tell all of you that I have published the first part of my book about Muhammad so that anyone who is able to read German can have a look at it; the first part is about Ibrahim. I only tell you this since one of your friends seemed to be surprised about my intention: but that I've told right from the beginning in my tgread "Some questions about Muhammad and his Islam".

since I read many books on Muhammad, the Islam and the Koran, I see that there are many different dates about the same event. Does anyone of you have a chart where all of the dates of the life of Muhammad are listed, both "a. H." and "a.Chr."?

As Iama Abu Hanifa said: æÇáÏÇ ÇáÑÓæá ãÇ ãÇÊÇ ßÇÝÑíä.
which means: The parents of prophet did not die blasphemers, they were Muslims.

The scholars even said taht the mother of the prophet peace be upon him, assayyida Amina, she was a pious rightous Muslim, she was a waliyya.

I might be able to help you with your request about the dates; but it will only be in hijjri because that what we are almost sure of. if this will be helpful to you; kindly give me little time to do so.

Please note that Muslims believe strongly that the reasons Prophet Muhammad married many wives are in NO Way because of sexual lust.
When you said it " was not mainly sexual lust" it gives a hint that you believe that  some of it was !!
No Muslim will accept for anyone to say that, and we strongly consider it a slander to our beloved Prophet. He is the best of Allah's creation.

Our Holy Prophet is the last guider on this earth. Who tell us to live treat , behave with others.. every thing a person can do. To show that of what age a man can marry a women. Holy Prophet simply do this. Like He marriage Hazrat Khadija who is older then her. and Hazrat ayesha. who is very younger. All that is done for no sexual lust but to allow people to marry weather a women is older or younger . Our Prophet do nothing wrong which is not liked by ALLAH.

A Non Muslim British writer Carlyle Died in 1881. He wrote a book Heroes and Hero Worship in 1841. He wrote about mariges and charecter of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W) you can read that.
