Lilatul-Qadr night
« on: Sunday 29 December 2002, 06:22 »
I think this is the day when Allah makes the decision that who will die the next year.

I wanted to ask, if Allah already knows who is going to die and on what date years before it happen, Why does Allah need to finalise the ideas on this night then, when he doesn't even need this day?  :stumped

WRONG ZAnwar….  Allah’s Will is Eternal, has No beginning No End. It is NOT that Allah “takes the decision when …..” Allah’s Will is an attribute of Himself, that is an attribute that has no End no Beginning.

The truth is that the ANGELS are informed on that night of who is going to live or die for the coming year….. The Angels, not that the Will of Allah is made on that night

Slam to all. I am a new member of this forum. This is my first post in here. :)

Lilatul-Qadr means the night of honor and dignity. It is the night of Power. It was the night when first revelation of Quran came to Holy prophet Muhammad (s.a.w). This night is better than 1000's of nights. The prayers offered on this night are regarded as the highest of value by Allah Almighty. It is a gift from Allah to man.

We must consider ourselves very lucky to have this night in our lives and we should benefit from it and get highest rewards from Allah by offering maximum prayers on this night.

Well Lailatul Qadr means the night of honour and dignity. It is this night in which the first Divine Revelation came to the Prophet sallalahu alayhi wasallam, when he was in prayer in the cave of Hira. Since this night enjoys the honour of having the first revelation brought to the Prophet sallalahu alayhi wasallam, it has been named Lailatul Qadr.
May Allah forgive our sins on this great night InshaAllah and give us trough to act on and pray for forgiveness insha Allah
