Dear Fatima

I strongly advise anyone who wishes to learn reading Quran to do it in front of a knowledgeable person. Reading after a tape or a recorder recitation is not the right way... because we might think we are repeating right but we are not and the tape will not correct us . And I had seen many people who ended up memorizing it the wrong way and it is stuck with them for the rest of their life and having very hard time correcting it with their new teachers.

The most effective way is hearing it then repeat it in front of someone knowledgeable then repeat it again and again then recite it in front of them again until you are both satisfied that the reading is properly done.

Knowledge take efforts, but we need to put the efforts in the right spot too, or it will be a wast.
