Dear Farrah

This situation is a problem we face as Muslims who live in Europe or America or any country.

A member of my family got married to a christian. The guy was super nice and a gentleman.

We told her in a very calm and understanding tune the following:

1- Your marriage according to Islam and to us as Muslims is invalid.
2- You are a Muslim even if you marry him but you are committing a major sin.
3- We love you too much to lie to you and say it is OK and we are happy for you.
4- We will not disown you, we will always be related and will treat you as our Muslim daughter and be their for you and help you as much as we can, you are not a lone.
5- We will keep on praying and hoping that by being between us he will convert to Islam.
6- This is not an easy situation on us but we accept that this is one of life's test and May Allah guide all of us to do what only pleases him.

God willed for the relation to end and she married  another Muslim guy. AlHamdu liLlah.

  The Full Moon, i personally believe that the way one says something is the most powerful tool that one has...I had tried to say the same, but my manner was pretty crude, or so i think :-)

Dear Sister syd

Thank you for your kind words. I wish I am always able to convey me love to everyone in a clear and presis words and ways, but my believe is: as long as the words come from the heart that is the most that I can do. Then leaving it to Allah for them to reach the hearts of my beloved Muslim brothers and sisters and the rest of the world.
Even if it does not reach it's target, I still say" Alhamdu liLlah , that I have tried".
