Why there is pain and suffering?
« on: Wednesday 18 March 2009, 10:01 »
They said that once a

Man went to the barber to shave his head and asked him to streamline the beard. . .

As the barber began to work on cutting the hair of this man, he began to speak to him about many  different things as well .. .then he started to talk about the existence of God ........... . .

Barber said: - 'I do not believe in the existence of God'
The customer said: - 'Why do you say to that?
Barber said: - 'Well, as soon as you get out to the streets you realize that God does not exist. Tell me, if God existed, will you see people sick?
If God existed, will you see such large numbers of displaced children?
Of course, if God is present you will not see Such pain and suffering.
I can not imagine how a Merciful God allows such things?!

The customer thought for a moment, but he did not respond to the words of the Barber .. . .

When the barber was done with the man, he paid him  ..... . then went out to the street. . He saw a long hair, such as fibroblast, a long beard, dirty, tousled man .

The customer went back immediately to the Barber's salon. . .
The man said to the Barber: - 'Did you know that there is no Barber in this world?.
The Barber replied : 'How can you say that. . I'm here, and I just gave you a hair cut.

The customer said:  "if there were barbers, you would not have seen a man in such conditions".

Barber said, 'there are barbers. . But you see such people because they do not come to me to shave them '

The customer said 'This is exactly in relation to God. . . God exist.
You find pain and suffering in the world ... and it happens when  people do not seek God and ask for his help when they need it. . .

Very inspiring and thoughtful, and suffering and sadness happen as a test too, because believing in Allah means belief that He is All Wise, and only Allah knows why certain things happen. May Allah help us understand such things.

well done ! :thumbs

Somebody said "When you are being rubbed by Allah on the Rocks, don't think that you are going to be finished, BUT you are being polished by Allah (metaphorically speaking) like a diamond".
