a film that exposes the perversity of the U.N.
« on: Wednesday 19 November 2008, 12:37 »

The United Nations was founded on the principles of maintaining international security and to promote the dignity of all mankind. U.N Me is a film that exposes the perversity of the U.N. and its failure to live up to its founding principles all wrapped up in a highly entertaining film.
U.N. Me has uncovered the disturbing truth that an organization that was created to ennoble man has instead been ravaged by corruption, enables evil and sows global chaos. The film has a very strong emphasis on entertainment.
U.N. Me is irreverent, humorous and intense, using thoughtful and powerful interviews, dramatic images, hard-hitting politics and caustic commentary.
Filming has taken place on location in exotic settings throughout Africa, the Middle East and Europe.

It  is true that the UN is ravaged by  corruption and decay. While I am no defender of the corrupt UN, I feel it is too easy  to place it's failure to live up t o it's principles on a bureaucratic entity. It's failure is our failure, we are responsible for world chaos and corruption. People sin, people kill, people fail to choose good from evil. If we did everything the UN asked us or if we did nothing the UN asked us the state of the world would remain the same. Looking to answers from the UN is blasphemous, only ISlam has the correct path, mocking the efforts of the corrupt UN mafia is ignorant at best. better to light a candle than to curse the darkness.
BTW the cinematography relies on outdated techniques from a time when Film wasn't able to capture a high level of dynamic range.
Poorly shot and stultifyingly cloying(gag).

I agree with what others have said. The UN has become a complete bureaucratic failure. It was somewhat successful when it helped nations come to some kind of peace with each other after the infamous World Wars, however it has not lived up to its word anymore, as curioustraveler has stated. For this reason, we must rely on the words of Allah and the teachings of Islam to help create peace among all and steer us away from the darkness that encompasses regions of the world now.

the real issue is that even when we agree on the failure of the UN, we as muslims way too often disagree on what islam is and is about....

there are contradictory explanations way too often for almost every bit of script.....

Can anyone name a group, person, or country that has brought peace to the Middle East let alone all nations?

Even Gandhi one of the greatest men to walk on this planet, (at least in my eyes failed and was killed trying.

Well, you must also take into account that the Middle East is also a land that is inhibited by several different cultural group, where it is significantly harder to appease everyone. America wants to extends its control over the region and spread Democracy and is fighting its war with Iraq, Israel and Jerusalem   have been in war for... decades, and there were plenty of other incidents over the past few years. America has nothing to worry about because it is off separated by itself, where there is one, main overpowering controlling culture that doesn't have to prove its dominance to other cultures.

America tried to create peace in Iraq, a small part of the Middle East, and look what happened? As soon as it started rearing its head in after the Gulf War, there have been conflicts resulting from terrorism and many other extremist groups, and nobody could forget 9/11 and the war in Iraq thats currently a huge problematic situation for America.

I was not talking about what the US has done.  G_D knows some have been horrible and some good alot depends on who you ask.

But I was trying to point out that even a small area like Middle East with all of its diverce cultures is hard to spread peace in.  let alone the entire earth.

I believe the only why it can happen is for G_D to intevine.

I hope I am wrong

Maybe that is the way that peace will be solved in the Middle East, maybe it isn't. Either way, I'm glad we're able to communicate our differences peacefully, and I appreciate your acceptance of other cultures, Dan. You are a true asset to these forums!

To protect the white nations, to enforce their agenda, to blackmail the africans and racially sub-due the brown skins and ignore the cinic nations, this simple recipe makes U N.

What surprises me is how effective it has been in doing all those things that you mentioned. Are those UN'ers just smarter than the rest of us?
