Topic: My favorite Islamic state today....

I live in the UK in an area which is majority Muslim. Muslim and non-Muslims live in harmony here. Halal food is readily available. Most of the shops where I live are Muslim owned. In a town about 5 miles away there are some great shops for Islamic goods. There are many mosques but the nicest ones are in the neighbouring town. It's not a bad place to live, if you don't mind cold and wet weather!

But, I would rather live in Tunisia. That would be my choice if I could choose anywhere.

Sorry to say that it is funny to read this topic that have been shared in this column."talk about Islam". When we talk about Islam, it's about how we want to be servant of God not to our desire.

WillowTheWhisp, you are quite lucky, alHamdulillah. I would love to stay where I am, Australia. Its a multicultural country and everyone is quite wonderful about it.

Wherever we live that automatically is our country. Some quarters do object that how could the West becomes our country, well for that matter I would say that if you find safety and security, food and shelter and on top of all your presennce is accepted, you are safe and that is your home.
 
This is a great irony that most of the Moslems who are residing in the West have escaped their native countries to avoid hostility towards them due to some political affiliations. 
 
Some are residing in the West due to economical reasons, which is understandable, Islam has no objection to this.

Malaysia ?Islamic state? there are no Islamic states,all states are ruled by jack asses or criminals.Any state thas has a muslim living in it is a (potential)Islamic state, So I reiterate my choice of the USA as the greatest Islamic State.

USA make wars upon Islamic states ... from Iraq to Afghanistan. USA as greatest Islamic state that harbored Gunatanamo & detain Muslims without trial, where every Muslims there are viewed as potential terrorists ... HAH!

No one disputed this. But when you have somebody who spouted nonsense towards the Islamic states, insulted every Muslim leaders that are heads of Islamic nations of the world, we have somebody who have smoked too much crap.

Not to mention, mentioning USA as the greatest Islamic state when that particular country waged a war to 2 Islamic nations, messed up several Islamic states, backing up a Zionist regime oppressing fellow Muslim Palestinians.

I do not hate USA, but pls refrain from equating USA as an Islamic State. Doing that shows that the forummer in question has not maximised his brain potential.
